The song and video are a tribute to the imprisoned WikiLeaks publisher, the Wikileaks source who spent seven years in prison, and the activist who was hounded by the law and committed suicide at the age of 26.

Julian AssangeWikiLeaks publisher, has been imprisoned in Belmarsh Prison in London for 33 months awaiting a decision on his extradition to the United States where he is wanted for publishing evidence of U.S. state crimes. Chelsea Manning was a U.S. Army intelligence analyst who was courtmartialed and imprisoned for seven years for leaking evidence of U.S. war crimes to WikiLeaksAaron Swartz, was a child prodigy computer programmer, and the brains behind Reddit, the RSS feed and Creative Commons. When he sought to make academic papers behind a paywall free to the public he was pursued by the government, leading to his suicide in 2013.
